For some reason, this page does not always seem to work with Firefox, though it does work fine with Opera and IE.  I apologise for this problem, and, as soon as i figure out how to fix it, i will.

The stereo images on this and the following page(s) are presented using the free "Stereoscope" Java applet created by Andreas Petersik.

When you click on the thumbnail image on the page, a window will open, displaying the stereo pair. These images are displayed by default for crossed-eye viewing.

To view, the images, allow your eyes to cross slightly so that the two images appear to fuse into a single, 3D image.

If you have problems with crossed-eye viewing, or prefer another method, the Stereoscope image permits viewing in several other formats, including parallel open-eyed viewing, anaglyph (with red/green or red/blue glasses) either in grey-scale or true colour format and in formats using computer-controlled shutter-type glasses.

To view in a different format, simply click on "View" in the applet menu, and select your favoured format.
Photos were taken using either the "cha cha" method (take photo, move sideways, take second photo) using my Olympus PEN FT half-frame SLR, or with a home-made dual-camera rig using two disposable cameras mounted with silicon adhesive on a couple of Home Depot "gimme" paint-stirring paddles.
"JPS" format stereo-image pairs were created by processing the images with the StereoPhotoMaker program by Masuji Suto, which, along with a bunch of otherimage/3D processing goodies, are available from his home page
